2018 marks the 7th Annual Youth Education Scholarship, "YES for Liberty", Constitution Bee. Applications to participate opened on Constitution Day, September 17, 2017 and closed on December 31, 2017. Selected students from all across Kansas 9th through 12th grades will be participating and vying for the $5750.00 of scholarship monies to be awarded.

Joseph Ashby is the fourth of nine children and grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he was a state champion swimmer. After high school he served a two-year mission for his church in Costa Rica and remains a fluent Spanish speaker. He came to Kansas to pursue a career in aerospace engineering and has worked for Spirit Aerosystems and Learjet.
Seven years ago he was first published on the conservative editorial web site AmericanThinker.com. His written commentary has been featured by national radio hosts including Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin. He hosted The Joseph Ashby Show in Wichita from 2012 to 2016.
The most common themes of Joseph’s commentary include the importance of individual rights, and constitutional limits on government.
He is perhaps most famous for being the father of Trick Shot Titus, the basketball-shot-making viral video. YouTube remains a big part of the household where the Ashby family’s channel has accumulated over 80 million views. Titus is the fourth of five children. Joseph and his wife, Kristin have been married for 14 years.
