2018 - "YES for Liberty" Scholarships Awarded - March 4, 2018

News in Brief:

2018 Annual "YES for Liberty" Constitution Bee Scholarships were awarded on Sunday, March 4, 2018.

25 students from across Kansas vied for the top award of $3500.00 ultimately won by Anne Serafin, St. Mary's Academy, St. Marys, KS.  Anne Serafin had competed and placed 3rd both in 2016 and 2017.

Second Place award of $1500.00 went to Madison Porter, Shawnee Mission West High School, Overland Park, KS.

Third Place, $750.00 award,  was presented to Emma Bryan, St. Mary's Academy St. Marys, KS.

Congratulations to the award winners and to all who stepped forward to test their knowledge of the Constitution of the United States which secures our "unalienable" rights as stated in the Declaration of Independence.  Thank You to parents, teachers, guests and especially to the donors and volunteers who give generously of their time and treasure to make it all possible.
