UPDATE (2) - "YES for Liberty" Constitution Bee

Date: 03/03/19
Time: Sunday, Afternoon - 2:00 PM
Location: Manhattan, KS

Update:  5:45 am, March 3, 2019:  Received nearly 3-4 inches at our home in Manhattan area.  Very dry snow & winds are definitely howling so anything on the ground will be moving around.  Do use caution both in driving and with the wind chill.  Again, we encourage each and everyone to consider carefully according to your own well-being and safety with traveling.  The Bee will proceed as scheduled.

Update:  7:30 am, March 2, 2019:  We will keep a watchful eye on the weather but at this point do not expect to cancel our event.  However, we encourage each person planning to attend, student and/or guest, to carefully consider their own travel concerns and to make prudent/thoughtful decisions for their own well-being and safety.

Greetings,

We are contacting you to inform and more specifically invite you to the 2019 Annual “YES for Liberty” Constitution Bee.  The Youth Education Scholarship Bee will take place in Banquet Room “B” in the Alumni Center on the Kansas State University campus, Manhattan, KS.  Students grades 9 thru 12 who are legal United States citizens and residents of Kansas, and in attendance at any public, private, military or home school program, have been encouraged to enter.  They can enter/place during each year of attendance in those grades and if determined a winner can receive awards each year.   We are proud to announce that the awards for the school year 2018-2019 are once again:  First Place, $3500; Second Place, $1500; Third Place, $750.

This “Bee” was organized for multiple reasons.  The first and foremost is to help Kansas youth further their education in a school of their choice in the USA, including Board approved  programs in Vocational/Technical Colleges, Public/Private Colleges & Universities and Trade Schools.  The second is to encourage understanding and knowledge by eligible youth about our Country’s Constitution and the Declaration of Independence; the subject of the questions asked in the “Bee”.

We would be honored to have you in attendance at this our 8th Annual Event: Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2pm, held in Banquet Room “B” at the KSU Alumni Center, 17th and Anderson, Manhattan, KS. Immediately following the “Bee”, please join us for a Reception located in the Tointon Great Room adjacent to the Banquet Room

Our goal is to hold the “Constitution Bee” annually here in Kansas and to see the competition expand throughout the United States with winners in each state.  This will take time, money and effort.  If you would like to take part in any way, we will be happy to visit with you.  In the meantime, please, join us on March 3rd at 2:00 PM, at the KSU Alumni Center.

Your RSVP (Reception only) will be appreciated but by no means requiredContact us at

info@yesforliberty.org or by phone:  888-753-7044 (leave a message your call will be returned).

We look forward to seeing you and guest(s) on March 3rd.
