2017 marks the 6th Annual Youth Education Scholarship, "YES for Liberty", Constitution Bee. Applications to participate opened on Constitution Day, September 17, 2016 and closed on December 31, 2016. Selected students from all across Kansas 9th through 12th grades will be participating and vying for the $5750.00 of scholarship monies to be awarded.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Tony Barton, Fmr State Representative, for the 41st District. After serving his country in the Navy, Tony started coursework in ministerial studies. Simultaneously working for the Nebraska Department of Corrections and starting a martial arts school, M.A.C.H. Force, he traveled the country presenting programs to schools, churches, community events and the Chamber of Commerce. Nine years later, ministerial studies and internship completed, his career path led him from Youth Minister to Sr. Pastor and radio host on “Conversation America.”
Tony’s commitment as a State Representative was to represent the people of the 41st District, their issues and concerns and make them a priority at the state level and federal level.
